How To Turn Off Automatic Antivirus Scan

Hello forum helpers.

I am using BD Internet Security 2012 and always like to start both QUICK SCAN and FULL SYSTEM SCAN manually.

Is there a way to do this?

Do you know how often automatic Antivirus Scan is in progress?

Those scans are found in the main window under Scan now (the Antivirus module).

The Auto Scan is working permanently on your PC, a full cycle depends on the amount of data stored on the HDD.

Could I turn this off then, since I do the scans manually?

Also I was wondering how often BD do a Full Scan?

Yes, you can turn off the module, but you will see an orange warning in the product.

We recommend you to run a Full System scan at the end of each month if you run off that module.
