I'm using Bitdefender Internet Security 2012. It found Trojan Generic KDV 657325 in my temporary files folder.
I'd like to get some idea of exactly what "Trojan Generic KDV 657325" is. An online search revealed nothing. It could be anything from mildly annoying spyware to a deadly harddisk murdering demon. Bitdefender claims that it deleted the trojan but, of course, that might not actually be the case. Even if it has, there's the chance that the malware damaged my system before being deleted. I'm certain that it's not a false positive, because the file path name reveals how it got on my computer.
I'd be very grateful if anyone could cast any light on the nature of this item and the threat it poses.
