Scan Behaviour

Hello
I think it was scanning a file and the path was too long to be displayed and from the outside looks like the scan stopped.
After that step, the scan continued?
Take care.0 -
Hi Chris!
The scan continues after the 'break'.
Thanks.0 -
I wonder if you were to click Show More (under Threats Detected) of the scan window, it may have shown you that files were still being scanned and skipped, and thus that it wasn't stalled, it just wasn't showing you the full scan path in the bar as your image showed?

Hi Columbo!
Under 'show more' when the scan stopped (0 files/sec), scanned files stopped too. the same file: c:\windows\system32.

Hello
Could you please send me the scan log so I can understand better the behavior?
[how to GENERATE A SYSTEM SCAN LOG from Bitdefender 2013]
- Before running the scan please make sure that you have the latest virus definitions downloaded via the Update module. For this you need to right click on the white "B" icon from the system tray and select Update now.
- After the update process has completed successfully you can proceed to running the scan task.
In the same window go to Antivirus and press the Scan now button =>System scan.
- After the scan has finished you need to submit the scan log file.
This is accomplished by running the Support tool file that can be downloaded from this location:
http://www.bitdefender.com/files/Knowledge...or_scanlogs.exe
Save the file prior to running it and to continue you need to accept the terms of use.
At the end of this process an archive will be created on your Desktop starting with bdamst.
Upload that file on
or
and send me a PM with the download link.
Have a nice day!0
