Any Way To Completely Disable Bd?

Hello;

I’m getting a bit frustrated with some issues I’m having with BD Antivirus Plus 2012, and this leaves a bad taste when trying to resolve problems.

Question: is there any way to completely disable BD? I would like to use this feature to do some troubleshooting. Turning off autoscan and autoupdate still results in vsserv.exe running and using up resources, so is there a way to COMPLETELY and temporarily disable all features of BD?

Any help would be appreciated.

The processes can only be disabled if you reboot your PC in Safe Mode. Vsserv.exe is the main process and for security reasons it can not be turned off.

We recommend you to create exclusions http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=30243 or turn off the On-Access module. If you turn off the last one, your PC won't be protected. Remember to turn it on after you finish your work.
