New Bitdefender 2013 Download Antivirus Will Not Turn On.
Hello,
I just downloaded Bitdefender Antivirus plus 2013. I am running Windows 2007 on a Lenovo Laptop. It is saying that the antivirus and antispyware is not turned on but the slider button will not move over to on. It just kind of flashes. Any help would be appreciated.

The same thing happened to me with my AV+ install, I could not get the Active Virus Control to stay on, it would just kind of jump on and off and not stay on, flashing as you said.
First you can try to run the repair by going into Control Panel/Programs and Features, highlight Bitdefender and click Uninstall, you will then be presented an option to Repair, try running that first to see if that resolves it, if not.....
Here's what worked for me. Download your version and the uninstall tool from this link, as you will get the full offline install version (please read Christian's highlighted instructions). I then uninstalled Bitdefender from Programs and Features, restarted the PC, ran the Bitdefender uninstall tool, then ran CCleaner in cleaner mode, and in registry mode, only deleting the Bitdefender keys that may be left. Restart your PC, and install Bitdefender from your download. Be sure you have your license confirmation email, or the one that came with the box, as chances are you will have to re-register it due to the complete uninstall.

Thank you for the help! I did all of that and it worked for a day and then it went back to doing the same thing. I am not sure if something in my Windows 7 is messing it up or what.
