Compatibility With Free Malwarebytes

Hi;

I have Bit Defender Antivirus Plus 2012. Can I install the free version of Malwarebytes in addition to BitDefender? My understanding is that the free version does not use a real-time scanner and should therefore be OK to have both programs installed on a system.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have BIS 2012 and Free Malwarebytes running on the same pc without any problem. But you should wait for a reply by an expert (Christian).

Wanna clarification, when the Beta Campaign was started I read from the web,

"We've listened to our valued Beta testers and are responding by making Bitdefender 2013 compatible with Malwarebytes so you can use both products at the same time."

But now you are saying that ......

"We do not recommend you to run another antivirus or anti-malware product near Bitdefender."

What is this? Which one should we rely on?
