What google doesn't mention in that document is that starting with Android Ice Cream Sandwich ( 4.0 ) is that if an app. has device administrator rights the Uninstall button becomes unavailable.

So in order to uninstall any app. that has device admin rights you need to go to : Settings -> Security -> Device Administrators -> and uncheck in this case Bitdefender Mobile Security .

Like I said , this goes for all apps. that have Device Administrator rights.
