Punk Buster Block! Only In Bitdefender!

Hello,

I'm using bitdefender 2012 Total Security for awhile, but recently i have a problem.

I have installed Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfer, And Punk Buster Too.

But, Bitdefender blocks the Punk Buster, what makes it kick you from the game.

I have tried to uninstall bitdefender, and the game worked perfectly.

I have installed again the bitdefender and i have the same problem!

Punk buster says:

unknown windows api function [131131]

I have searched for solutions, and they said Bitdefender blocks it.

I have tried you suggestions:

It doesn't work! Keep get the same problem.

You ddidn't understand what i have said, this happans in any version of you, from 2008-2012 it has this, and many people have been reported for that, and you did nothing.

I'm here to get soution, upgrade its not a solution because your Virus database is the same in each version.

The issue is not caused but a virus definitions, it is caused by Active Virus Control. In Bitdefender 2013 a new version was introduced and should not cause any issues.

So please upgrade to the new version and everything should be OK.

can you guarantee that BD 2013 is compatible with Punkbuster? I have this problem too and I will upgrade to the 2013 version (and also buy new a license) but only if the Punkbuster problem has been solved.

I installed the trial Version of Bitdefender 2013 and am having exactly the same problem (communication failure of Punkbuster). I have tried to add an exception to the firewall or shut it off completely, without success.

Christian, as you recommended to upgrade I assume you know which settings I need to make now?
