Cannot Create Safebox Folder

I'm trying to add a new Safebox folder. I deleted the default folder so that now there are no Safebox folders.

No matter what path I use to add the folder I get a message saying the folder cannot be added to synchronization, and to see the list of excepted folders. I am not trying to add a folder in an excepted path.

I even tried to add the default folder in the exact same default location that I removed, and I get the same message.

Yes, I did restart after attempting to add the Safebox folder. I have Bitdefender Total Security 2012 installed with auto-updating. I have had Safebox installed for some time and have restarted numerous times after installing.
