Trojan Virus

I've recently noticed that bitdefender had deleted a trojan virus :

Gen.trojan.Heur.LP.Gu7@aWxC!Yg

Is this a false positive or is it a real thread?

Also do I have to reformat my computer even though bit defender said it detected the file and deleted it?

You don't need to format the PC if the file was deleted.

Could you please tell which version of Bitdefender do you have installed?

I need this information so I can send you further instructions.

Im using bit defender total security 2013 .

U didnt tell me if the virus was a false alarm or not.

There s also an item that has failed when i do a full system scan, and bitdefender tells me im not virusfree.

what else should i do?
