What's The Latest On Rescue Mode ?

In searching the 2012 forum it appeared that there are post saying Rescue Mode failure to start has bee fixed via updates ? Here's a jpg of my current system re BDIS2013.

However...I still can not launch Rescue Mode during reboot. I get a number of flash by Linux (I think) screens but the system freezes. Have to reboot machine to get back to Windows ?


Am I up to date and anything new on getting rescue mode to work ? It seems OK in Win 7 32bit Pro and XP SP3 Pro machines...not working on this Win 7 Pro 64bit machine ?

    I have tested the latest Rescue Mode version implemented in Bitdefender 2013 build 16.20 on several machines running Windows x64 and they all boot in this special environment.


    Could you please repair the current version from your system?

    Well....completed repair install...all BD systems/options running fine...no more updates available when running update module ...sytem still freezes when the BD rescue mode is chosen at boot ?


    Get the same three quickly flashing Linux screens...but then just a dark screen with no response or action...have waited up to 5 minutes...and then have to hit the restart button on the case as before ?


    One thing...I did not get any screens saying register...etc...after repair install was complete...

    A product update was released. Your build should be 16.21.0.1504(please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).


    In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).

    Have the latest update as far as I can see...same problem tho...I get abour 4 quick linux screens and then screen goes blank...have to hit case restart button to get back to Windows 7 Pro 64bit ?
