Safebox - New User Question

Options

Hello everyone. I just purchased Bitfender Security yesterday (Sept. 17, 2012) and as I understand things, Safebox is included in the package. Despite my searches within the program, I can't seem to locate it. I'm sure it's actually there, but being very tech, um, let's say "challenged." <img class=" /> Can anyone direct me, in simple terms, how to locate it?

Thank you!

    Hello :)

Safebox is only included in Bitdefender Total Security 2013. If you purchased Internet Security, you can install the standalone version from here:

    Take care.

  • Thanks for quick reply, Christian. But, um, how do I tell which version I bought? Like I said, I'm definitely not tech savvy! ;)

Please ignore the post I made just prior to this one. But do read this one. I'm very tired at the moment and after posting the first reply to you (Christian), I realized I could have been a bit more clear about where I'm getting confused with my software.

I purchased a Lifetime license but don't know if that's for the Total Security 2013 or Internet Security 2013. When I open the program it says "Bitdefender Security 2013" at the top of the window. When I toggle through the options I can see all of the below:

    • Antivirus
    • Antispam
    • Privacy
    • Firewall
    • Update
    • Safego - Note, I don't have a Facebook or Twitter account, but do occasionally use his account from my pc to contact certain people so have activated this on his account.

Does this mean I do not have the Total Security version? And if so, do you know if it's possible for me to upgrade my Lifetime License to it? Or, for that matter if it's something I even need to worry about. I do look up many things on the internet, belong to a couple of basic text chat forums and play simple games at sites like Pogo, but am not a huge social media fan. I've added this extra info so that if you confirm that I do not have the "Total" version, it might assist you in advising whether or not I even need to worry about upgrading.

    Hello :)

You have purchased Bitdefender Internet Security 2013 and this product doesn't have Safebox included.

Only Total Security has the online backup module included.

    Take care.

  • Okay, many thanks Christian!
