I'm using Bitdefender Internet Security 2013 (latest build 18.104.22.1684) on Windows 8 Pro x64. Every I full scan my System, CPU run 100% . Plz help me!
Full scan does take a lot of processing power, but what are your computer specs and where are you seeing it is using 100%?
Any antivirus scanner uses a lot of CPU power when running a full scan.
A product update was released. Your build should be 22.214.171.1247(please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).
In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).
Let me know if the situation is solved.
Have a nice day.
I'm using latest build but issue still remains.
I will need some logs from that machine.
For this issue, I have received a positive feedback when the update was released.
Please follow the steps explained in the article below and send me via PM the generated log file:
If the file is too big to attach it, upload it on
and send me a PM with the download link.
If you were already asked to generate the log file, disregard the message above and just post the ticket ID.
I want to reaffirm the high load on the processor, all 6 cores are loaded almost to 100%, the latest version of antivirus.
I sent that file for you!
The logs were forwarded to the testing team.
I should receive some answers by Monday morning.
