Possible Indetectable Malware/spyware

Here i found an strange minecraft installer, it was on a strange forum on a new topic it is 20 kb bigger in size than the official minecraft game installer. I run it in virus total and nothing was detected so i am not sure if it is infected but when this installer is downloading and installing the game it downloads some files from an unknown source.

Please reply with results, and you guys might want to check the official too or atleast confirm me the second link is from an oficcial source.

The official page chains to the second link you provided.

The first one appears to be just an older version of the installer, probably from around February.

However, I find no reason why you would not want to obtain the game from the official source.

I always get things from official sources but like i said in another post i like to submit suspicious files and look for viruses. I submitted this one since it came along with a mod pack and even thought is not infected it downloads the packages from another source from the one i have maybe is because is older like you said.
