How To Disable Mybitdefender

Hi


I'm new with MyBitdefender Antivirus Plus 2013.


I keep getting the MyBitdefender pop up windows displaying.


How do I disable this window from popping up?

    In order to receive product and signature update, you need to activate Bitdefender with your account.

  • I get this as well and I am registered


    OK I can;t log into mybitdefender as I registerd a few years ago and don't remembe the password and


    the login recover password fails, the web adress emailed just falls back to the login page.


    So yes I would like to know how to get rid of the pop up appearing 2 or 3 times a week.


    OH I donlt really care about not being able to get into mybitdeender as I don;t have most of the offered functions


    and definitly don;t want remote mangament.

    I have registered but I continue to get the pop up to login and register product. This is very annoying. How do I stop the popups.=?

  • Still no word on how to get rid of the pop-up, its getting anoying.


    Can;t login to mybitdef as the pasword recovery does'nt. I just do not want to be anoyed by a pop-up while im working....

    I don´t know why I have to activate Bitdefender with an email account and a password, I installed Bitdefender in my computer with the password supplied to me by email, and for me it would be enough, myBitdefender window is just a nuisance.

    A MyBitdefender account is required in order to use the online features of your product (Safego, Parental Control, Antitheft, Safebox - the last 3 available in Bitdefender Total Security). It also allows you to recover your Bitdefender license key, should you ever lose it and to manage the product remotely.


    Please be informed that you do not have a Bitdefender account registered with your email address. You can create one, as follows:


    - bring up the Bitdefender interface


    - click the MyBitdefender button (located in the upper right corner of the Bitdefender program installed on your PC)


    - from the drop-down menu select the option "Account settings"


    - click "Create a new account"


    - enter your e-mail address and choose a 6 digit password for your new Bitdefender account


    - following this procedure an email will be sent to your email address


    - click the link included in that mail to confirm your Bitdefender account.

    Hello


    i'm getting the same pop up with the notice to register mybitdefender.


    because of not needing the subproducts Safego, Parental Control, Antitheft and Safebox, i do not want to register with email or social infos.


    this fact brings me to one easy question: how can i disable the pop up window?

    I'm also wondering if it's possible to disable this screen. I miss the days when you could just install a program and it would work without having to give your info away to everyone.

  • The key issue I have with this thread is that Bitdefender support is not addressing a key point raised in a number of posts: How to disable the login popup? No one from Bitdefender has explicitly stated the feature cannot be disabled.


    My options are to: (1) not renew my subscription, (2) find out and disable the appropriate service or process, or (3) find out the registry tweaks to disable the feature.

  • Because this issue with Bitdefender, I bought Kasperky.
