Laptop Won't Run Bitdefender Rescue Mode

Hi,

I currently have bitdefender 2012.

I've recently suspected that my laptop has contracted malware but am unsure of how to find it and remove. A normal virus full scan comes up with no issues so I thought I'd try running another scan in rescue mode after browsing these forums.

When I reboot the PC and press space to get the option or reboot to rescue mode through the bitdefender dashboard I get as far as choosing the options to run rescue mode or go back to windows 7.

When I select rescue mode I get the following message:

Try (hd0,0) :NTF5S:No bdr-1d01

Try (hd0,1) :NTF5S:No bdr-1d01

Try (hd0,2) :NTF5S:No bdr-1d01

Try (hd0,3) :FAT32:No bdr-1d01

BIOS: Drive-0x0, H=0, S=0

Try (fdo):invalid or null

Cannot find BDR-ld01

I was wondering can help me with this

Thanks

How many Harddisk drives have you installed? For Rescue Mode, Bitdefender installed some files on the root of the C Drive starting with name bdr and an image file starting with the same name. Confirm their presence, they are hidden. If they are not present, then repair your product.
