I purchased bit defender 2013 security package. While on netflix, my computer froze up and I had to do a restore. Unfortunately, I got an error telling me that I have to disable my virus checker. I did that and tried again. I did not get a satisfactory restore. Once again, it errored. I figured maybe I ought to just uninstall bit defender and reinstall it again once I get my computer restored. I was unable to uninstall bit defender. When I clicked on the icon "B", it tells me to be patient while it was loading. After about 25 minutes, it still was loading. I could not stop the loading process. I then tried to reinstall and that errored telling me that I am unable to install because I already have a copy of bit defender. So in other words, if the bit defender is already installed, I should have been able to launch it. I could not relaunch it when I clicked on the program icon. I am on wits end and I just don't know what I should do to fix this problem. I hope that you can help me with this problem other than do a complete system recovery which I do not want to do. Any help would be appreciated. I am running windows 7 premium. Thank you very much for a quick reply.
