Safepay Disappeared

I have installed Bitdefender last month and it worked fine since that (except for the black wallpaper after using safepay). But today the shortcut on my desktop has disappeared and I cant't find safepay using the Windows search command


It is just as if it has been desinstalled


(I am on a Windows 7 PC)

    I've tried the to repair Bit defender but the process failed (see attached file). There is still a bit defender folder but I can't repair it nor use it. I'm ready to uninstall completely and reinstall again but by doing that will I loose an install token (I've got a licence for three PCs) ?

    Hello :)


    No, you will not lose your license key by uninstalling and reinstalling on your PC. You can do that as many times as needed on the PC you installed it on.


    If you had a previous AV on your PC before Bitdefender and it didn't get totally uninstalled, it can cause glitches with Bitdefender's proper functioning. If that was the case, here is a link to uninstall tools, and also look for any leftover files, folders and registry keys after using it: http://www.bitdefender.com/support/removal...tware-1107.html Again, if this is the case, and you need our help in looking for leftovers after using the tool, let us know :)


    Download the Bitdefender full installer form here: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=35494


    Use Bitdefender's uninstall tool from here: http://www.bitdefender.com/site/Downloads/...l_consumer.html Restart your PC


    Right click and run the BD installer as Admin, deny the check for latest version/updates when it asks during the install. Install, restart your PC, and check for updates.


    If the issue still persists, then you will need more in depth help from others here, or Georgia, our Tech support mod. and if you still had the screen shot of process failed, please resubmit it, as that could be very helpful

    Locate the file named "obk.exe" having location "C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender 2013\obk.exe" and right click on it and select Send to Desktop for creating shortcut and then renamed that shortcut on desktop to "Bitdefender SafePay".


    There is no need to repair Bitdefender nor to restore your Windows.
