Hometab- Safe To Use?

Hi,

I've heared about a new browser extension called HomeTab, and I'm wondering is it safe.

HomeTab should create a connection between my browser and Android smartphone, to allow "Google Now"-like enhanced features.

Has anybody heared about HomeTab or its origin?
