Hi.
I use CodeBlocks for programming and every time i try to compile and run something, BD quarantines my .exe file. Therefore i cannot run any program...
How can i remove this virus? Or is this a false positive?
Hello. This is most likely a false positive. Detection will be reevaluated in the next couple of hours.
In the mean time, could you please specify the compiler, target and options you are using in codeblocks, or what version of codeblocks your are using, in case you are using the mingw supplied by them?
A few blocked samples wouldn't hurt either.
Thank you.
CodeBlocks 12.11 with their MinGW.
I cannot provide any samples due to this restriction - "Upload failed. You are not permitted to upload this type of file." (The blocked files are all .exe)
LE: I noticed i am having this problem only when i use pointers in my program.
The usual method is
3. Add the detected file(s) to a zip file using file compression software of your choice (WinZip, WinRAR, etc.) 4. Password protect the zip file with the password "infected"
4. Password protect the zip file with the password "infected"
Then rename the file to .txt and attach it here, or send it via PM.
Please make sure the attached file is not too big. You have a limit of 4 MB, I believe.
Thank you
Here is the sample.
Detection has already been suppressed (please update for this) and will be corrected before reinstatement.
Thank you for your report.
Have a nice day.
Hi!
I have a similar problem using Code Blocks, just in my case the virus detected is Variant.graftor 75362.
I use WinXP with BD IS2013 and Win7 with BD IS2012 on same computer. The detection rate of the file on virustotal.com is 11/45, with major players detection by BD, McAfee, VBA32 and Panda.
I uploaded the file according to the rules, can you please verify if it is a real virus?
Detection will be corrected in a few hours, but please resubmit the file, as it wasn't uploaded properly on the forums.

Here it is, thank you!
It's Ok now, thank you!
For some reason, the forum software omitted notifying me of your second post from yesterday.
Happy to hear it's no longer a problem for you. Thanks for reporting.
Have a nice day!
