Hi, I downloaded the .iso file and after its updated and ran BD did not see the threat, problem with this version of the virus is its does not allow booting into safe mode-anything except command prompt. I'm a bit rusty in my dos, it was 10 years ago when I was an IT flunkie. Running windows 7 64 bit on an older Dell precision. So how can I get a bootlog-type file to anyone that can help. My IT language use is also a bit rusty, I apologize for that as well.

For the current situation, please try to create a new user account from Safe Mode with Command Prompt

1. Start your computer in Safe Mode with Command Prompt - During your computer starting process press F8 key on your keyboard multiple times until Windows Advanced Options menu shows up, then select Safe mode with command prompt from the list and press ENTER.

2. When command prompt mode loads enter the following line:

net user removevirus /add

and press ENTER.

3. Next enter this line:

net localgroup administrators removevirus /add

and press ENTER.

4. Finally enter this line:

shutdown -r

and press ENTER.

5. Wait for your computer to restart, boot your PC in Normal Mode and login to the newly created user account ("removevirus"). This account won't be affected by the infection.

After this, log in on the new account and create the BDSYS log from there:

. Save and extract the BDSYS tool to a location of your

choice:

. Make sure you close all active applications and then run "BDSysLog_i.exe"; If you receive a firewall alert,select to Allow the application to connect;

. Click the "Create log" button to start generating the log; A progress bar is indicating that the tool is creating the report;

. When the small window appears with the message "Log saved" then the report is complete and a new file named "bdsyslog.zip" has appeared on your Desktop;
