Activate Bitdefender (windows Message)

Why is it that I often get the message from Windows (7 Prof 32 bit) that I have to activate Bitdefender (the little flag i the Systray)? Windows can't see that Bitdefender is up and running. I have tried to make a repair of Bitdefender with no avail.
