I'm hoping for a little help or advice for what if any steps I should take to resolve an issue I'm having either with a virus or false detection from Bitdefender. I have recently installed Bitdefender Total Security 2013 and it continues to detect the Gen Variant.Kazy.107729 virus which appears in the virus event history module. It reports the file name, virus name and file location stating that it can not clean this item. However, I can not physically find this file or the location in which it is supposed to reside. It also is not found when performing a full system scan or quick scan with the virus scan module. I have tried several scans with Bitdefender and Malwarebytes Anit-Malware and neither program reports an infection, yet the event history continues to create a new report of this virus after I delete the log.

Please help. I am unsure if support questions can be directed to a moderator of the board or if this is the correct forum for seeking technical support. If not, could someone please advise me of my options for that.
