Do You Protect Against Finspy/finfisher?

Options

I saw on your facebook page that you don't consider FinSpy/FinFisher to be "malicious", despite the fact that repressive regimes are using the malware to target American citizens and record our conversations, skype calls, keystrokes, etc.

Please either declare unambiguously that you protect my computer against this threat, or direct me to how I may obtain a refund for myself, my family, and my friends to whom I've recommended your product.

Thank you,

Good question. I would like to know the answer to this as well. For the rest of you people out there, this is what we are talking about:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FinFisher

Although an answer on the public forums straight from the horse's mouth would be good, (in case that doesn't happen) why don't you also contact Bitdefender directly and post their reply here? You can email them from here:

    http://www.bitdefender.com/support/consumer.html

You can also use that same email system to obtain a refund if you are unsatisfied with their product.

Another thing you can do is start a Change.org campaign. Using Chang.org's mass email system, you can alert (potentially) millions of people about this slight. Starting a petition to demand better security is a great way for a company to know just how many of its clients are upset with their product (via how many signatures you petition gets).

Well, good luck. And don't forget to post their response to your question here in the forums as well. :)
