Can I Uninstall And Reinstall Bitdefender And Still Use Same License Key

For some unforeseen circumstance I will have to format my laptop. So I will most probably lose my Bitdefender. I have bought Bitdefender for 1 year on 3 PC's. So far I have used it on 2 PC's . What I want to know is when I format, I will have to reinstall Bitdefender and will have to enter my License key again. So will that deprive me from my 3 PC license key . Or will I still have one key remaining which I can use on my 3rd pc. Please reply ..thanks

You can reinstall and enter your licence key. The Bitdefender servers only detect your active licenses so when uninstalled it is no longer active, they only see how many are active at any one time.

Welcome to the Bitdefender forums!

If you choose to reinstall your Operating System and then install Bitdefender on that computer it will not count as a second computer from a license key point of view.

Hello markwhl,

The servers are sending repetitive queries for that. If they receive the same response over a specific time, the Bitdefender key is invalidated automatically.

One more thing I would like to add here is that you can use a single user license key on a dual boot system without worries.
