Zebar Adware

I have Bitdefender Total security and have picked up Zebar Adware on my computer which Bitdefender cannot remove. Bitdefender is trying to block the Websource about 50 times a day but cannot find or delete the source files for some reason.

Any assistance on how I can remove this irritating virus from my machine?.

Hiya,

Zebar is not strictly a virus and was probably installed inadvertently with your permission when you downloaded another program and missed it. You can try running Malwarebytes Antimalware (free program) which may get rid of it, otherwise there are instructions out there on the web such as this one.
