Bitdefender Antivirus Stops Working If There Is No Internet Connection!

Looks like BD 2015 stops protecting my PC if there is no internet connection. It stops responding too . Some screenshots attached. Is BD going to protect computers without an active internet connection?

I can't reproduce that, disconnecting from the internet everything works as normal (well except the update), BD still works after reboot/no internet.
