Unisales Virus

It basically pops up whenever I use google chrome search bar and brings up a lot of ads/bogus links. How can i delete it? Ive tried everything they say on the internet, delete registry, uninstall program, clear browing history, cookies etc.

Hi, Brad0129,

As nintores alluded to, you probably picked this up on an install of freeware software? Unless you use the Custom install option, these pups can install along with the main software. I had one last week that even after I unchecked the boxes, installed the Yahoo toolbar and homepage anyway.

Your option is to run the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and see what it can clean up for you (disable Bitdefenders On-Access scanning during the MBAM scan, as to not have 2 scanners scanning each file accessed). Then turn on BD On-Access scanning, and run a BD System Scan.
