Problems Updating Virus List

hello,

when I try to update the virus definition list I get the error shown in the attachment (error 2), basically the app contacts update.bitdefender.com and retrieves the definition list (I put a http logger) but for some reason the parsing of the file fails (I guess)

can you please have a look?

OSX 10.10.2

Hi grounder and welcome to the Bitdefender forums!

Please stop the app first (quit, cmd+Q) then delete the container this way:

1. Go to Finder, to bring it to foreground.

2. Click on GO and by holding the ALT key the Go to Folder will appear. Or press the keys Command+Shift+G

3. Type in the "Go to" bar the following:

~/Library/Containers

Delete the folder "com.bitdefender.BitdefenderVirusScanner"

Now restart the app and try to scan anything. This will trigger the update.

Wait for 1-2 hours, then update Bitdefender manually by clicking the interface button. Now everything should be back to normal.
