Stuck At 49%, Even Though Scanned Items And Elapsed Time Is Increasing.

I have been running a full system scan over the past 24 hours. 18+ of which the scan has been stuck at 49% completion. Everything was going smoothly until I hit this brick wall. I noticed that since Bitdefender began scanning my Steam game files and system32 files there has been literally no activity percentage wise, yet there's been around 200000 files scanned. Is this normal, and if not, how should I go about to fixing it?

That is way too long, my system scans tend to hang at 49% but only take about an hour and a half.

Cancel the scan, go to your Control Panel>Programs and Features>Bitdefender 2015. Double click it and choose "Repair". Let it complete and reboot the computer. Try the scan again, it will take some time for a full scan, especially if it is the first one and you have a lot of files in your computer.
