What Is Safepay? And Banking Software Interaction.
Just curious what exactly is safepay. Is it a sandboxed browser?
I'm actually concerned with how it'll interact with my bank's software, which MUST be installed on the system and browser to be able to access its services.
The software is known as G-Buster Browser Defense from Gas Tecnologia. It's NOT a nice piece of software, having caused a soft brick in 2013 on all windows 7 computers updating with MS's KB2823324 (released April 9, 2013 I think).
How will safepay handle this? Will it be installed on some virtual space and afterwards be gone with, or will I have to install that thing on my machine? I uninstalled it with a recovery CD (yes, it will simply not allow anyone or anything to uninstall it) and was thinking of setting up a VM for banking.
