Bitdefender Antivirus Essential License Suddenly Invalid

I acquired Bitdefender Antivirus Essential in april 2014 and have used it since without any problems but yesterday it suddenly stopped working and now says my license is invalid. It should be Computer Lifetime Protection and I haven't changed anything to my computer or configuration. Can anyone help me with this issue. My OS is Windows 8.


I guess I will have to provide more info on my registration but I'm not sure what and where to find it. Any help would be apprciated.

  • Without doing anything Bitdefender suddenly started working again. At first still with an invalid licence warning. Than it got updated again and now the key is active again and everything works like it did before. I guess there was some sort of failure with the server validating the key. Everything sorted out now.
