Bitdefender Total Security 2015

I have a ticket number: 2015081922150003


I just tried to reload Bitdefender Total Security 2015 and I got "Setup has encountered an error, installation failed". What do I do now to get Bitdefender back on my PC?


I know it used to be in the past that you could only reinstall the product 3 times and then it would not let you reinstall anymore times. Is that still the case? My license is good thru 2016 (I have approximately 230 days left on my current license).


The problems didn't start occurring until after I installed Windows 10. My windows would freeze up and then Microsoft would get some problem info sent to them and my PC would then reboot. Bitdefender came up with a "red X" like no updates had even been done. The error I got was "pdc_watchdog_violation". Many people have reported this problem to Microsoft, but as far as I can tell, the problem has not been fixed yet. My major concern is getting Bitdefender back on my PC and working again. Can anyone assist me with this problem?

    There is no restriction on the number of times you can reinstall Bitdefender, obviously as long as you do not exceed the number of devices you have a license for.


    Were you installing the Windows 10 version of Bitdefender 2015? If not you can find the links here, including the un-install program which it would be a good idea to run first before downloading the program - http://www.bitdefender.com/support/-1452.html
