    Manually. You will have to uninstall old version and install new.

  • i did a upgrade to bitdefender 2016, followed the steps to transform my license into bitdefender 2016 and no way that i can find my license. The bitdefender central says i dont have any activate subscription. And when i tried to transform the license again, it says that i already used the license to generate the subscription.

    Please try to logout from Bitdefender Central and the login again.

  • I also have a subscription to 2015 Total Security Multi-Device that was just automatically attached to my my.bitdefender.com account when I purchased it. I never received a license key. When I log into Bitdefender Central, there is nothing listed under subscriptions. How do I upgrade to the new versions?

  • I have a valid BDTS subscription/key. Although I stopped using BDTS 2015 some time back due to performance issues I'd like to try BDTS 2016 on my PC. I input my old serial number/key into the "Activation Code" box in the Subscriptions section. I see those 3 animated dots once I click on the Submit button. After that there's no message to confirm acceptance or rejection. Also, no subscription is added to my account. Am I doing something wrong?

    Log back in to the my.bitdefender.com portal. In the upper right, click your email and then My Subscriptions. You should be able to see your valid license key. You can copy that over and paste in the Central website.

    That is what I did. Uninstall with the BD tool, downloaded 2016 and activated it with my license key. You will have to set up Bitdefender Central.

    There's no offline installer and there's no resume option in online installer.. :(

    One question, is Firewall's Paranoid Mode back in 2016 version after being absent in 2015 version?


    I'm using 2014 version to have Paranoid Mode.. :unsure:

    Paranoid Mode was absent in 2015 version at first....But as per users frequent request Bitdefender included it in the later product versions......But on a different location....It was under General Settings


    Paranoid Mode is included n 2016 ---> Bitdefender GUI ---> Click top right figure icon ---> General Settings ---> Check Paranoid Mode

    With the problems, seems like it's not really ready.


    Considering some of us had problems with the move to Win10 I'm assuming we should wait for the definitive word to GO. :P

    Well thats because Bitdefender never released an official offline installer

    Well, they are being hosted on the Bitdefender's servers which make them official (in a way) :blink:


    Anyways, download & Install this


    Once the download starts, let it finish for about 10% & then disconnect the internet, the download will fail but it'll leave Bitdefender Agent installed in your PC.


    Then download & install BD TS 2016 using the offline installers provided here & after it finishes, use BitDefender Agent to sign in..


    That's how I made it work <img class=" />
