Using .bvd Files On Ubuntu 15.10?

Hi,

So, obviously I don't need the antivirus part of Bitdefender for Ubuntu, but the file vault feature of Total Security has left me wondering: is there a way I can open and lock .bvd files on Ubuntu 15.10, command line or otherwise? I would like to use the file vault system on my laptop.

I posted this in the "feature request" section without first asking whether there was something that already did this.

The .bvd files can only be opened via the Bitdefender interface for Windows.
