I have an unresolved threat. How do I fix this?

Infection Name:

Gen:Variant.Application.MAC.OSX.SpigotCA.1

Path to Infected File:

<System>=>/Users/JasonIMAC/Library/Application Support/Spigot/ApplicationManager (disk)

Action Taken:

Disinfect failed

Hello,

Please follow the steps below and let me know how it all goes.

1. Minimize all windows and click anywhere on an empty space on your desktop
2. Click on Go from the menu bar and select Go to Folder
3. Copy-paste the path from the scan report and click on Go

/Users/JasonIMAC/Library/Application Support/

4. Find and move to Trash the “Spigot” folder
5. Empty Trash
6. Restart Mac and run a new Full Scan
