Cannot activate licence code



i am currently having some trouble activating the licence code i received by mail. i already had 200+ days remaining in my subscription ( 2016 version ) but i also purchased another 12 months subscription and when i try to go to the "My subscriptions " to activate the code received by mail, the section it is blank and just the blue circle spinning endlessly trying to load the results . Browser is up to date and all the other sections work just fine except for " Support " which displays some results but you cant open them and there is this blue circle spinning again.


Any ideas how to fix this and activate my newly bought subscription ?

ps : I did not unistall the 2016 version manually before downloading the online installer for the 2017 version from the bitdefender central. I unistalled it when the 2017 installer prompted to remove the 2016 version. Later i restarted of course.
