This morning, I have a message that looks like a pop-up in a new tab on Chrome that says:
"Zeus Virus Detected - Your computer has been blocked."
"Error: Virus - Trojan Backdoor Hijack #365838d7f8a4fa5"
"Please call computer system technician immediately on: 888-phone number"
"...if you close this page before calling us, your computer access will be disabled..."
This looks like a fishing expedition - like they want you to call them - but I am of course not sure.
Some other facts that might help:
The new tab has a url a million characters long that starts with security-25yz8u.pw
I have BitDefender 2015 (although I renewed this year, so this should be 2016, right?)
Microsoft with Windows 7 (I uninstalled Vista). Chrome brower.
