As per the documentation, Web Security only protects Chrome and the built-in android browser. I am not sure if Firefox is supported as well. Perhaps, someone can confirm this?

Edit: I can confirm that it works with Firefox.

I checked some site from PhishTank and saw that it works with Firefox

Hi Amir,

Bitdefender Mobile Security for Android uses the Bitdefender Cloud services to alert users, when browsing, about webpages that contain malware, phishing or fraudulent content.

So you don't need to be warned about that.
