Hello!

How can I deactivate Bitdefender firewall and activate windows firewall?

*It appears that the windows firewall cannot be accessed, probably due to the antivirus firewall. But if I turnoff the Bitdefender firewall, the windows firewall remains inaccessible .

Firstly what Bitdefender version do you have installed on that machine and what operating system is it running ?

If you deactivate the Bitdefender Firewall the Windows Security Center will automatically re-enable the Windows Firewall.

Bitdefender Total Security 2017 build 12.0.23.1101 Trial version.

The windows firewall doesn't re-enable. Idk why...

If you are running the 2017 version of the product do not post in the 2013 section of the forum. I have moved your post in the proper area.

The switch between Windows Firewall and 3rd party is done by the Windows Security Center.

You may also have the Windows Firewall damaged and simply fails to start properly.

I would advise running a integrity check and should it persist please contact Microsoft.

Ran the check, indeed there are corrupted files. Will have to follow rest of the direction given by microsoft.
