I recently upgraded from BIS 2015 to 2017 and I'm not able to set up my firewall. I have tried reaching out to the tech support but they keep telling me to uninstall and reinstall BIS 2017. I need "help for dummies"

    What exactly do you mean by "I'm not able to set up my firewall" ?


    Are you unable to turn it on ?


    Is there a specific application you wish to block ?


  • My Bitdefender firewall keeps turning off. My made the mistake of upgrading to the BIS 2017 and I lost the firewall settings my ex had set up while using BIS 2015. I'm a really dummy when it comes to this and I want to make sure my computer is safe.

    By default the Auto Pilot manages the Firewall and all of its settings. Basically the product will auto-tune itself and adapt to the system.


    As for the Firewall not enabling itself, please open a ticket with our support team via bitsy@bitdefender.com with the logs from the Bitdefender Support Tool.
