Firewall does not remember VPN

Dear all,


I have Bitdefender Internet Security 2017


I connect to a home VPN when I'm remote. I cannot access my network shares though the VPN unless I set the VPN network adapter to "Trusted" in Bitdefender Firewall settings. Until now, that's good.


But : when I disconnect from the VPN, the device is removed from the Firewall Adapters tab. And when I connect again, the network type is back to "Public". And I have to change it again.


How to make the VPN trusted permanently?

    After settings the Adapter to Trusted please ensure that you turn Generic ON.
