I have the above mentioned program. What I want to know is how do I adjust the settings for maximum performance and effectiveness when I scan?

    Depends.For contextual scans you can't .In the detailed log ,the log button,you can see the options used.


    For real-time protection the descriptions for on-acces are on point(aggresive=moderate use,normal= i call it a low use of resources).


    I prefer to keep AVC and On-acces on agressive.I haven't encountered any false positives yet and i used the 2017 version from release.
