BD Icon Grayed Out

On my PC I find the BD icon in the notification tray grayed out. I look at Services and will find the BD Virus Shield service stopped. I restart the service and all is ok. This has happened at least a half dozen times.

Any idea why this is happening?

I am running Windows 10 Professional, build 15063.14. I am running BD Total Security 2017.

Insider/Beta builds are not supported by Bitdefender.

We recommend reverting to the live version of the Windows operating system to resume normal functionality. 15063.138
