Hi,
I have been using Bitdefender for Mac since last year. I am about to renew and noticed on the Bitdefender website that Bitdefender for Mac has a new feature called Safe Files. I do not see that feature in the Bitdefender I am running and was wondering how to get it? Do I have to un-install then download the newest version of Bitdefender and install it?

Hi,
The Safe Files feature is available in the latest version which you can install directly from your Central account. During the installation you will be prompted to uninstall the existing version. The steps are available in this article:
