Three different prices for the same thing? Weird pricing.

So I got a popup asking me to renew Total Security 2018 Family Pack (unlimited devices) for 1 year, also have the same notice on Central. The offer is for $83.99 US, regular $119. If I go to Bitdefender's site I can buy the same thing for $59.99. To top it off, on that same page (https://www.bitdefender.com/solutions/family-pack.html) there's a "renew it here" link...where it's offered for $48.

To recap, I can renew from the offer in Central and pay $83.99, or buy it like a new customer and pay $59.99, or go to the renew link on the site and pay $48. All for the exact same thing.

Can anyone give a reasonable explanation for this confusion? It feels like BD is trying to take advantage of people that don't thoroughly investigate all the options, that just click on the "Offer".

I suggest not to renew BD licence because there is no response from support or any forum moderator for almost 2 months now (maybe even longer, I would say since September).

And people are having major problems with BitD.

So for now, just do not do it.

Something really fishy is going on here for some time now. Just read the top 10 topics on this forum and you will see. Zero (0) response.

Maki711.- That makes me nervous. I've not had any trouble with it in the past but the lack of response is concerning.

Edit: I did some poking around on the forums and it looks like Sorin G (/index.php?/profile/201429-sorin-g/" rel="">https://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?/profile/201429-sorin-g/) is the only BD person responding to posts. He has posted recently in several of the forums.

I know and that makes it even worse, he purposely ignores a lot of problems here on the forum...

Having something like: "Yeah guys there is still no fix for this" would be fine !!! Just give us some answers...
