Can not access encrypted external hard drive Sony HD-E1

Hi there,

I have a Sony External Hard Drive HD-E1. The data is encrypted using the Sony's Password Protection Manager software.  I haven't been able to read the information in the disk since Bitdefender identifies the software as a Malware (Atc4.Detection).  I downloaded the software from https://www.sony.net/Products/memorycard/en_as/hdd/software/index.html?j-short=hdd but I got the same result.

I followed the procedure for false positives and it did not work.  I submitted an e-mail to the support e-mail address but no response.

My equipment is a Vaio VPCEA37FL, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits, Bit Defender Total Security 2018.
