How does RansomWare get onto and corrupt/encrypt a system that has Bitdefender antivirus fully installed and active? No unknown email attachments were opened. No apparently malicious websites were visited (although my understanding is that bad websites would be spotted and I'd be warned).
It looks like it was actively destroying files on this system for nearly 11 hours. That's a long time.
I've submitted samples of encrypted files along with their decrypted original versions for analysis as requested. Has BD ever been able to unencrypt?
