Does Bitdefender Antivirus Plus scan POP3 email of infected attachments and phishing links?

    Hi, 


     


    Bitdefender Antivirus Plus will scan emails, if the option is enabled, and it will block any that have infected attachments. However, it cannot detect if there are phishing links in the email. If you do open a malicious link in your browser, it will be immediately blocked by the web protection features. 


    You can find the option I'm talking about in:


    Bitdefender > View Features > click gear icon under Antivirus > Advanced > Scan emails.
