Bitdefender not blocking webminers

Hello,

As the title suggest, Bitdefender Total Security 2018 x64 (20.0.20.260) is not blocking webminers anymore. I tried reinstalling but some websites just keep clogging my cpu despite Bitdefender being active.

It's happening on all browsers I have. Chrome, Firefox, Edge and IE.

Bitdefender used to block them before. Wonder if a new ****** is being used to mine resources.

Not just Bitdefender but the miner blocking addons are not catching them either.

Couple of websites I frequently use which use my PC's resources :

http://www.espncricinfo.com/

http://www.hotstar.com/

These websites are for India only. So if you want to test it you might need to use a vpn.

But in that case Bitdefender blocked the miners when you opened the webpages via normal browsers. That's not the case here. This is affecting my web experience and Bitdefender used to block them all. Now it just sits there and does nothing while these webpages slows my pc to a crawl

Not really, I showed scripts where web protection blocks or not, in different browsers, you can pay attention to the non-standard method of implementing the miner - XHR.
